Platform

This platform is an ICT platform meant to acts as a trading hub between the purchase and sale of auto parts. This means that on the purchasing side there will be an integration / link with the ERP systems of the manufacturers / suppliers. For the end user (the sales side) a selection system (EPC = Electronic Parts Catalogue) forms the core of the platform. There is also the possibility for a DMS / GMS connecting by excluding information. The last delivering link in the chain is the most controlling factor of the supplying company platform. The supplying company assortment is the focus of the information flow towards end user. This recuires an extensive cooperation and cooperation from the ERP system implementor/integrator.

The different links are realized with the specification of the participating parties. IZI 2Connect will never impose a specification. The platfor can handle for instance, TecCom, SOAP, XML, JSON, REST, Rack and won´t avoid legacy systems like front- and backoffice systems with any GMS / DMS, with Slimstock and with an ERP like SAP and Microsoft Dynamics.

Within the platform it is possible to expand the EPC component lines (such as private labels) and to complete existing lines, all in our own IZI Base.

The Platform offers plenty op opportunities to fine tune the platform through its own developed CMS. Roughly the CMS consists of four parts:

• Account administration. Order routing.
• Parameterize EPC. Range determination.
• Expand EPC with IZI Base. Private labeling.
• Advertisement (in case of purchasing the total shop, see below).

Optimal facilitation: transaction based payments
Since the IZI Motive concept assumes a facilitative model, the functionallity is offered at a rate per order line. In case of specific arrangements payment can be based on a customized fee in combination with a maintenance fee. IZI 2Connect can also act as Reseller of TecDoc webservices (a TecDoc license is normally required).
